Oranges imported from Egypt, Africa and other countries in its peel contain lots of dangerous substances.

On the boxes in which oranges are imported sometimes you can find the inscription: "Waxed and treated with T. B. z and S. O. P. P." or "Waxed and treated with Imazalil and O. P. P." or Waxed with (E903, E904) and treated with T. B. z & O. P. P."

TBZ - Tiabendazole (thiabendazole), marked as E233. This is the strongest antibiotic (fungicide) to protect against mould and parasites. Banned in Russia for use in the food industry because of their toxicity.

SOPP (or OPP) and sodium salt of orthophenylphenol (sodium ortho-phenylphenol), a food additive Е232. Toxic and has the ability to penetrate through the peel in a citrus Makati. It is also a strong antibiotic that can cause poisoning if a considerable consumption of processed citrus.

Imazalil (imazalil) - another toxic to all mammals fungicide, banned in several European countries, but allowed in Russia. According to some assumptions is carcinogenic to humans, at least in experiments on mice and rats found its carcinogenic properties.
